Do I need to call Prefer Optic Vision Care (POVC) for authorization of benefits every year?

Yes. You need to call every year for an authorization of service to be sent to the provider you have selected. This is helpful because as the Network of Providers change, there may be greater options available to you at the time you call to receive benefits.
